I salute all the exhibitors and organizers of the project International Calligraphic Exhibition. I am glad to see the desire of patriotic people to realize such grandiose plans.

Art of calligraphy, as organizers have noticed, is deprived of its due share of attention. In the days of high technologies people quite rare take pens. It is necessary to remind the society that beauty is created by human being hands. First in the whole world International Calligraphic Exhibition is an outstanding opportunity for us to get closer to such a unique art of writing and take a pen ourselves. On behalf of the  Russian National Library I wish good luck in organization of this crucial event.
